Why the Changes?
Riot Games has been monitoring gameplay data closely and has made these changes based on several key observations:
- Reduced Snowballing: Games are now less likely to be decided early on, giving players more opportunities to make a comeback.
- Increased Skill Expression: Champions are dying more slowly, allowing for more strategic gameplay and rewarding skillful play.
- Balanced Roles: The changes aim to prevent any single role from becoming overly dominant.
- Improved Gameplay: The adjustments to items and champions are designed to make the game more fun and engaging.
By reducing snowballing and increasing the emphasis on skill, Riot is aiming to create a more balanced and enjoyable gameplay experience for all players.
